ADHD-Focused Evaluations
Wondering if you or your child has ADHD? NCMA offers a streamlined evaluation to assess ADHD. Our priority is to guide your understanding of how your brain works and then provide you with recommendations to support your needs.
In some cases, where there might be a more complicated diagnostic question, such as other diagnoses that may overlap with ADHD, we may recommend that you complete our comprehensive neuropsychological testing instead.
ADHD evaluations we offer:
- For Adults: We offer a targeted ADHD-specific evaluation to primarily explore the question of ADHD. This streamlined evaluation may not be appropriate for everyone, but our team will help to determine the best fit.
- We also have comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations that explore ADHD along with other diagnoses, such as autism, OCD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, and personality disorders, among many others. This evaluation looks more fully at cognitive functioning as well.
- For Children and Teens: We usually recommend comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents where ADHD is questioned. We will work with you to pick an evaluation route that is best for you and your child. There are some instances where a targeted evaluation may be appropriate, and in that case, we will recommend it!
The Process for the ADHD-Focused Evaluation:
- The clinical interview and testing will occur on the same day. Although streamlined, our testing is still thorough.
- A 60-minute follow-up session occurs within a week of the evaluation, followed by a written report.
- Cost: $1200
